Hostess Brands, LLC, announced the company will be moving its corporate headquarters to Lenexa, Kansas. The partnership between Hostess Brands, LLC and the state of Kansas over the past several years has allowed the company to continue to grow their flagship bakery in Emporia, establish a new distribution facility in Edgerton, KS and now relocate the corporate headquarters and R&D center to Lenexa. Hostess® is a leading brand by market share within the Sweet Baked Goods category.
The brand’s history dates back to 1919, when the Hostess® CupCake was introduced to the public, followed by Twinkies® in 1930. Today, the Company produces a variety of new and classic treats including Donettes®, Ding Dongs®, Zingers®, danishes, honeybuns and coffee cakes, in addition to Twinkies® and CupCakes.
